Martians Café

Now open 7 days from 8am! Open for dinner Thursday – Sunday. Come and experience the relaxing vibe that is Martians Café. We are also a bar and live music venue and provide a perfect stop off jaunt or just a great place to meet in a friendly and creative atmosphere. Pennyroyal Raspberry Farm

Opens for the new season on Saturday 3rd December.
The Farm and Teahouse is open daily from 10am to 5pm for PYO berries and refreshments excepting Christmas Day. The berries are all looking great and this year we have an even larger range of berries for everyone to pick. There is nothing like a ripe berry straight from the bush ‐ Willamette raspberries,
Nootka raspberries, cultivated blackberries, boysenberries, loganberries, marionberries, youngberries, black currants, red currants, jostaberries, gooseberries and strawberries. The Teahouse continues its 27 year tradition of offering scones cooked to order with our own jams and light lunches cooked in house using farm grown and local produce. Our farm made preserves are also available at the teahouse.

Gosling Creek Winery

Gosling Creek Winery is open every weekend or by appointment on weekdays. Our sparkling pinot noir chardonnay and the traditional sparkling shiraz are in stock for special Christmas celebrations. We are open every day from Boxing Day onwards to the end of January. You are welcome to use our barbecues or
to bring a picnic – the view and the gardens are in peak summer form. Our light lunches, wine tastings and friendly atmosphere are just the thing for a lazy
afternoon. Quality local wine is an ideal Christmas present inspiration for hard‐to‐please or unexpected events, and gift bags eliminate the need for wrapping. Our summer music season starts in January on Sundays with a Lazy Sunday Afternoon theme, and twilight sessions on Wednesday evenings as Hot Summer Nights.

Otway Nourished changes hands

Otway Nourished at Ferguson has now sold, with Amy and Daniel Bain as the proud new owners. Business will continue as usual whilst Amy and Daniel launch into some renovations. Please feel free to contact them regarding their trading hours - this may be a little changeable during this time!

Melbourne Food & Wine 2011 - A Taste of the Otways

A Taste of the Otways welcome sign The Otway Harvest Trail held a degustation lunch as part of the 2011 Melbourne Food & Wine Festival - 100 guests enjoying a 7-course fine-dining meal featuring the produce of the Otways Hinterland for "A Taste of the Otways". And it would seem that the event was a huge success!

The weather was perfect - low 20's, and a beautiful sunny day. Held in the historic Tarndwarncoort homestead, in the gardens between the mansion and the old apple-store/woolshed, the Otway Harvest Trail members put on a magnificent show of what can be found in southwest Victoria only a couple of hours from Melbourne.

I had a wonderful time on Saturday... The food was sensational, the wine brilliant and the company delightful. The setting was so lovely too.

Come and try it for yourself - wineries and cellar doors, cafes and restaurants, breweries, olive groves, seasonal fruit and vegetables, even ostrich leather and Polwarth wool - you'd be surprised at the range of very high quality produce that can be found, and the excellent boutique accommodation that allows you to relax and truly absorb the beauty and the flavour of the region.
