Lunch at the Botanic Café’ at the edge of Lake Colac. Wander through the Botanic Gardens. Enjoy the views of the lake from the café verandah.
Head over to Tarndie at Warncoort. Visit the yarn shop. All wool is grown on the property. The yarn is created from the sheep that greet you as you drive into the grounds of the historic homestead. Tea and scones are great for an afternoon tea snack.
Continue on to the small town of Birregurra. You’ll find a collection of lovely stores including a well-stocked quilt store, Inheritance Patchwork and Wares tucked into the corner of a small courtyard. 69A Main Street.
