Pennyroyal Bush Bread offers freshly baked sourdoughs and yeasted breads at the bakehouse within ‘The Store’ at Deans Marsh.
Jo has been baking for the past ten years herself, following in the footsteps of three generations of bakers within the family.
Breads are created using local ingredients, such as the Lidgerwoods spelt flour and grains, local Otway aperies honey, Mt Moriac olive oil, Ravens creek farm ham, and Otway walnuts. There is a strong belief within the business to support other local producers and to showcase the beautiful produce of the Otways.
Ingredients are also collected from her own garden and local market gardeners such as Kinsfolk farm and Marshall Greens.
Pennyroyal Bush Bread is also offering Bread baking workshops. Sharing the art of baking and creating both yeasted and sourdough breads. Included in the workshop is a local produce antipasto feast with hot breads straight from the oven and homemade cake and local chai to finish the afternoon.
Jo is also available for catering, specialising in smaller groups and fingerfood.
Baking Fridays, inhouse Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at The Store Deans Marsh.
