Saint Aire are boutique producers of premium Grass Fed Beef. Located on the limestone hills of Glenaire on the Otway Coast, it is a regenerative farm where the animals graze on a unique calcium and herb-rich terroir, and strategic environmental works are implemented with a view to the future health of the wider ecosystem.
The French ‘Bazadais’ Cattle breed is renowned for its finely textured beef and the farm operates a small Full Blood and Pure Bred polled herd of Bazadais Cattle, whilst Tajima Wagyu and Angus genetics are also used on farm. Principles of quiet, healthy animals, through all stages of their life span are adhered to for ethical food consumption whilst reflecting in wonderful meat quality. Saint Aire was born out of a desire to offer locally produced quality beef to people who want to know the provenance of their food.
Saint Aire currently supply whole animals to a specialty butcher and restaurants, whilst beef is also sold on a seasonal basis at the Apollo Bay Community Market and other Local Otway Markets, enforcing their belief in supporting a vibrant local food economy with low food miles.
