Dar Tèta

Dar Tèta is the Granny’s house in the gorgeous town of Forrest, deep in the Otways. The place is very warm and welcoming. The food is casual, colorful and fresh. It is located at the front of the Forrest Guesthouse.

It is place where people can enjoy a warm friendly atmosphere with a fresh Mediterranean meal. It is a place to share authentic food recipes that mothers and grandmothers passed to my generation. Our garden is full of herbs and cupboards full of pickles. Our restaurant is located in the gorgeous mountain town of Forrest.

The restaurant utilises lots of local products in cooking delicious meals. The restaurant serves local wines from Yeowarra Hill, Dinny Goonan, beers from Forrest Brewery and liquors from Otways Distillery.
